Denmark has the world?s best business climate

The Danish business climate is projected to remain the best in the world for the next five years, according to the latest analysis of the global business climate by the Economist Intelligence Unit, or EIU. Denmark also rated top for the five-year period from2001 to 2006.

Divergence within the euro area.
The euro area counts some of the best business locations in the developed world (Finland and Ireland), but also some of the worst (Greece and Italy). Although the recent outbreak of "economic nationalism", especially in France, is not expected to lead to a descent into lasting protectionism or arrest FDI flows, the pace of structural reform in the big three euro zone countries (Germany, France and especially Italy) will remain well behind the best-rated countries.
